privacy and security doesn't work~!

even though I go to the privacy setting and change it to get no call or message from somebody I don't know, calls or messages are still coming.

What's the problem of my computer?

I don't want to get those stranger's call and message.

Do the privacy settings remain as you selected them or do they go back to allowing calls and IMs from anyone?

Do you happen to have an Android mobile device which also has Skype installed on it?

I have the same issue and also when skype responds to me by email they even use someone else's name! How would that happen and how can I set that person up to get busted! Skype should want to be all over this type of abuse!

I am getting slammed with IMs, calls, and contact requests to the point I can barely use the system.  I have taken all information off the internet about myself and I'm hoping that will slow down the weirdos out there.  ALL of my privacy settings are all set to CONTACTS ONLY. 

A lot of these requests are extremely inappropriate as I have young children and many of the contact requests are of a sexual nature.  Seriously cam-sex?!?  What if my child answered the video call?  Support....What's going on?  By the way, I'm on a Mac.

My privacy settings go back to allowing calls and IMs from anyone, they don't remain as I selected them (contacts only)

I also have this problem...which is why I came here today.

On my laptop, everything is set to contacts only...

and on my Android Pro, everything is set to contacts only...

Yet I still was just woken up by 3 spam contacts calling and messaging me...

And when I tried to block them from my phone, it said "user has been UNblocked and may now contact you" or didn't have the option to block them from their profile... Moments before this happened, I had to sign out of Skype and back in because all of my contacts were gone. It's really weird, and kinda freaking me out...
