My skype was working 3 days ago, but until now my skype keeps login me even when i un checked the auto login box after that my skype would just load until the skype freeze's on me and giving me a windows message saying there is a problem with the program and i've tried to upgrade it and downgrade and nothing is working but it works on my other acccount on my laptop but not on my other one , could someone offer me any tips on how to fix it.

No like i cant get into skype it stops loading for me at the login screen and gives me a windows message, i acutally need to get into skype.

Try to reset Skype settings:

Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata%, press Enter or OK button. The Windows File Explorer will popup. Locate there a folder with the name Skype. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old. Restart Skype.

N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call history. All data are still saved in the Skype_old folder.

I am supposed to get a call from my mentor. I'd like to use skype. I set up an account a little bit ago and added her as a contact. How do I go about receiving her call and skyping? Our appt is in an hour and a half. 'Hoping you can get back to me soon.

The microphone doesn't apear to be working.  I have gone to control panel and can't seem to set the default mic, but was able to set default to reltec mixer.  What am I doing wrong, please help.  thanks

skype was working fine untill about 3 days ago.It just quit and I could not sign in.I have tried resetting my password several times.

it will tell me it is ok but when I try to sign in a screen pops up with mnanygill1 and an extrastring of dots for a password and goes nowhere.

This thing is driving me nuts
