how i can retrieve chat history?

i lost my chat history on skype and i dont know how it's removed. i want to apply an application and its important for me to  present the chat history. please help and inform me if there is any way to retrieve the chat data.

You can try using a program call SkypeLogView to see if your chat history is still stored on your PC.  http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html

If SkypeLogView doesn't find the history your  looking for, and if you haven't backed up your Skype files, your call history is gone.

One more 3rd party solution to consider is G-Recorder (www.g-recorder.com).

It backups Skype chat history and call recordings directly to Gmail, which is quite useful when having Skype at multiple devices or reintalling PC.
