home page not loading + add contacts not loading

i keep on trying to add people on skype but when i go to add contacts the page goes blank and doesn't load... i tried reinstalling skype and i'm still having problems

However, your issue may also be related to other problems with your Internet Explorer. Note that regardless which browser you are using, Skype is using IE to create and manage the Home page and "Add a contact" window. In any case you should make sure that you have the latest version of IE installed on your computer (IE8 for Windows XP or IE9 for Vista/Windows 7).

I am having the same problem...using FF on Windows7...IE not enabled on system....says Home unavailable, wont let me add contacts...says person does not exist in system (who I am trying to add)..yet they have been on SKYPE for ages

You must reinstall Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is crucial for Skype.
