It's few months that my skype is contnuosly crashing.
I used to unistall, clean up everything, reainstall- ant it was fine.
But two months ago after it crashed I hadn't be able to do do anything... I couldn't even download the full setup.
Then a friend suggested me to use the Portable version. I worked for 2 months and today crashed.
So I unistalled everything. Cleaned up every thing a forum suggested me to do.
I had been able to download the full setup. BUT I can't LOG IN!
My skype cyrcle can wheel for hours...
I'm really really really going crazy.

Download and Reinstall the new Skype 5.7 beta version. See if it helps.

If not resolve this issue, then
Please do a Skype reset:
1. Ensure that "Show hidden files and folders" is switched on.
Click Start and then Run Type "control folders" and click OK. In the View tab, ensure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled
2. Exit Skype : From the system tray >> right click on the skype icon and click "Quit Skype"
3. Click Start >> Run Type: %appdata% Rename folder "Skype" to "Old_Skype"
4. Re-run Skype
Check if the issue persists
