camera incompatable with upper versions

My camera stopped working after the upgrade today. I removed the new version and installed different versions of 5.x in vain. Even the version 5.6 failed to work.

Finally I had to go back to 4.2 and it works fine. Engineers in Skype needs to focus more on generality/usability than fancy functionality.

sometimes, available versions of cam drivers do not work as video source in certain versions of Skype, but do work as source within manycam. Now, since manycam works in all versions of Skype, it may be used as an intermediate device. you may give it a try, it's free.
