calling between 2 computers

i have skype on my computer in canada and when i am in usa i want to talk to my wife in canada. do i download skype on us computer using the same skype name i have in canada or do i  need a different skype name and can we talk between computers

You'll need a different Skype name...one for you and one for your wife.  A single Skype name can't call itself.
