Everything is working great and then a big static noise comes on so that we can not hear the other party anymore. It lasts anywhere from 10 seconds to two minutes at a time and then it is clear for about another 30 seconds. This does not make for a good conversation. It is happening on both of our computers and it has happened with comcast and with att. Please help!

The same thing is happening to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOES NOBODY ANSWER THIS QUESTION?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Same problem has just started happening to me. I have used Skype without any major issues for nearly 2 years now but this (really annoying!) issue started just yesterday. Extensive research on the web has not revealed a satisfactory fix, and from what I have seen it seems to be happening across a number of platforms, operating systems and with a variety of hardware leading me to strongly suspect that the problem is either at Skype's end or the user's ISP.
Can we have a robust fix please Skype?? Or at least some information on what is causing this?
