Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post. Info on all installed devices should be available in this file.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
First look for any driver updates (especially video and sound) for your laptop model.
Also, what Firewall and Antivirus /security applications are installed on your computer?

Please can anyone help me? I had been using Skype for so many year now with the same computer. I am using Windows 7 & suddenly Skype started to always not respond. On the 1st hours of using Skype, it works fine but it started to freeze. I reinstalled different versions of Skype it it keeps on freezing still. On the event viewer, here's what it says;

I already disabled some of my application that is starting automatically when Windows starts..I had also updated my Windows already. Please help!
