Why can't I get video call anymore?

It's not highlighted anymore when I turn Skype on

 Our Video Call has suddenly dropped out .Anyone know why and how I can get it back .

i have been using video calls for at least 2 years. Aall of a sudden last week it disappeared. i must have written 15 e mails to skype.  Then one day the video calls were back on.

Now the green button for video calls disappeared again.  Your staff does not contact me at all. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING.

Is the contact you are trying to make a video call to Online on Skype? The status icon next to this contact's name must be solid green with a white checkmark inside.

I am having the same problem   video does not light up

I have used skype for a few years I communicate with my granddaughters in Australia, it is now longer highlighted only calls how can I get it back.  A disappointed Grandmother

I cannot get past some skype page that shows my features.  I had skype before and it worked just fine.  now it shows me offline and I cannot even get to my contacts or to the page where I can video call.  what is wrong?

What is the version of Skype program installed on your computer? In Skype go to Help -> About Skype.
