When I log in, it thinks I am my nephew

I was helping my nephew set up a new Skype account on his PS Vita.  First I downloaded Skype onto MY computer.  He signed up for a new account name.  Now for some strange reason, when I log in to my computer it thinks it is my nephew logging in.  It acts like our accounts are combined.  How can I resolve this issue?

Click on Skype > Sign out.  Enter your Skype name and password and sign back in.

Done.

We each tried that, but it still seems to think that I am him.  I will try it again.

If you sign out of your nephews account and sign back in with yours, there's really no way Skype can still think you are your nephew.

But if for some strange reason it doesn't work, you can completely remove your nephews account with these steps:

Quit Skype.

Hold the Windows key and type r.   In the box that comes up type %appdata%\Skype <enter>.   Find the folder with your nephew's Skype name and delete it.

Restart Skype.

I tried this, and at first I thought it was going to work.  Here is what is happening.  When I log in as me on my computer, it is showing his name as being online.

When you say it shows your nephew as online, do you mean above your contact list like this: 

Is that where you're nephews name is showing?

If so, might you have accidently entered your nephew's name in your profile?

Click on Skype > Profile > Edit your profile.   What does it show as Skype name?  Yours or your nephew's?
