When I click on skypesetup...

When I click on skypesetup, it gives the option "Choose what program you want to use to open this file" and at the top of that screen it says "open with..." and it gives options such as "adobe reader" and "internet explorer" and others. Is there a recommended program under which I should run skype? I have tried to get skype before and it never did this. Please respond?

What is the exact name of this skypesetup file? You should enable file extensions in order to see the full name of the file.
