User name on different computer

I have Skype on one computer then installed it on another computer and it made me use another user name. How can I set it so that I have the same on both?

there is nothing to 'set' per se

you simply sign in to Skype using the same name and password as you used on the other computer (and at the same time if you want)

but this likely means that you now have a superfluous Skype Name -- not to worry, simply stop using the one that's not needed -- deleting an existing account is neither required, or possible

Trying to d/l Skype to 2nd computer....using same loggin name (to be remote and access same contacts etc). Can't seem to d/l Skype to 2nd computer and I know that I did it on my older laptop. What am I doing wrong to keep that from happening?
