Unexpected end tag ................

Could someone advise how I get rid of box that appears on start up of computer that says......unexpected end tag: expected "b", actual "font".

It doesn't seem to interfere with anything but just don't want it.....

Go into Tools > Options > Notifications > Settings (Uncheck the bottom box "Send me a message") > Alerts&Messages (Uncheck both those boxes too.) If the problem continues let me know.

Does the same happen if you don’t start Skype when Windows starts but manually starts Skype using the desktop shortcut?

Thank you for your reply.  As it turns out, since I posted, the problem seems to have resolved itself, but I will keep your info for later, if issue arises again.

For the last couple of days, I have noticed that my bright blue camera light just pops on, while I am on the internet, by itself, without my having done anything on Skype that session. 

Then I click on the Skype lower left hand icon and that "X UNEXPECTED END TAG:EXPECTED "b", ACTUAL "font"" window appears.  When i click the "OK" the camera and the window go off.

Please first make sure that you are running the latest Skype version. You can check your version in the menu "Help -> About". Currently it's 5.8.0.158 which you can download here: www.skype.com/go/download
