Unable to share screen being invisible [ Edited ]

Hi,

So with this new version of Skype 5.8, I found that it's not possible to share screens with a person who's on invisible mode.

So everytime I need to share my screen with the person on the other end, he/she needs to change the status from invisible and that's only when the "Share Screen" link is activated.

I would appreciate if this can be changed so that users even being on "Invisible" status can share their screens with each other.

It's definitely unexpected behaviour because you can start video during a call with an "Invisible" contact. I have forwarded your finding to our development team. Thanks for pointing it out (bow)

Yes, with the previous versions of Skype, I was able to share my screen with an invisible contact but with this new one, for some reason, it doesn't work.

I hope they release an update soon with a fix to this

I see it's been two weeks since the last post and still no updates to apply a fix. This highly ticks me off

I see an update today..hopefully the issue is fixed in this update.

The answer is very short and simple: This issue is not fixed in the new 5.8.0.156 release.

I was disappointed to see this myself. Until this is fixed, I'm sticking with version 5.7.
