Unable to Get my video to work in skype

I have a problem that I have been unable to fix. I just bought a new computer and install my web cam (gear head 2.0) and the audio works in skype but the video doesn't. It has a line through the video when you try to check the settings. Anyone have any idea what to do. I unistalled the camera and reinstalled it and also the skpye software

Your webcam is not on the list of webcams approved by Skype.

What you might try is using ManyCam between your webcam and Skype.  You can download ManyCam free here:  www.manycam.com
