Stuck on blue loading screen?

Hi there, for some reason i can't login to skype anymore it just keeps stuck on a blue loading screen (Check attachment).

What I have done for now:
- Updated to newest version

- Reinstalled

- Rebooted

- CCleaner scan

- Antivirus scan

- Etc.


Any ideas what I could do now?

Oh yea, I forgot to say, the application isn't stuck at all. I checked Task manager.

The same has happened to me.  This must be a major problem for them and they obviously didn't do the necessary software checks before roll-out.  I am stuck and cannot access my contacts.  No-one has replied to my enquiry, I am not pleased with their customer service and there is no 'contact us' on the website - bad or what!

You know what I totally agree. When i uninstalled Skype, the first thing that happend was a popup window to Skypes homepage telling me if I have any troubles they would gladly HELP!.............

Please answer all of the following diagnostic questions in your very next reply:

 

What is the version of Skype program you are on now?
Are you running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?
Which version of Internet Explorer installed on your PC?

- Internet explorer 8
- 64 bit
- The newest skype version.. I just reinstalled and updated. I thinks it's called 5.10

You may need to register vbscript.dll and jscript.dll

 

a)     Click Start.

b)     In the search box type cmd

c)     Right click and select Run as administrator.

d)     Type the following commands and press ENTER.

 

cd..

cd SysWOW64

regsvr32 jscript.dll

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

 

Restart your PC. 

Now try running Skype.

Didn't try your solution but now my Skype seems to be working fine for some reason? I haven't restarted yet. Instead of using a shortcut i used the direct .exe from the Skype folder. That seemed to work for me for some reason..... I'll report back if the error comes back.

Many thanks for the reply but I still need help.  Maybe there is a post for this but I am spending too much time navigating!  I am stuck on My Account page.  When I log in I am presented with My Account and can't get any further.  All i can do is edit profile, email and password.  Any suggestions?
