I have same problem and have done every thing also. The strange part is I made a new profile on same pc and Skype as my old one and it has yet to stop working. The problem seems to be in the profile for some reason.
I have that problem too, i tried uninstalling it, cleaning my pc, restarting my pc, restarting skype, then at the end i just went to a different computer, made a new account and still the same problem.
no thread has helped me ive been searching for a solution for this for 2 days now. is this going to be fixed? ive uninstalled, reinstalled, gotten old versions, same, and the new beta and nothing. it closes after i make a call with the message "not responding" i also got error messages when i tried to install the newest version. ive talked to other people that i know and theyre skype is broken too. however some of my friends skype is still functioning. please skype do something about this. -i use windows vista 64 bit
