try entering this in the run command (or create a shortcut);
C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe /minimized
just change C if you installed Skype in a different drive.

get the Skype page to minimize auto on startup windows 7 32bit.
On Windows 7 (unlike on XP and Vista) the initial state of minimization can get lost after autologin. Not only Skype Home, but also the Main window pop up. In order to keep the main window minimized, you have to use the additional switch /legacylogin, as revealed by TheUberOverLord. So the run command or shortcut or registry entry have to look like
C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe /minimized /legacylogin
A separate issue is how to keep the Skype Home window closed. Options:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\" /minimized /legacylogin" doesn't work on Win 7-64
it has to be complete:
%programfiles(x86)%\Skype\phone\skype.exe /minimized /legacylogin
or you try the most recent subversion .115
I right click the icon in the taskbar, choose properties, select %programfiles(x86)%\Skype\phone\skype.exe /minimized /legacylogin in sthortcut -> target, but still get a maximized window in Windows 7-64.
