Skype slows down my computer....

Skype slows down my computer and it is very annoying!! Need to know how to avoid get my speed back.

I experienced it before .. skype hangs my computer after the booting process.. i resolve my problem by doing this procedure..

1. go to start > run
2. type "msconfig"
3. click startup and uncheck the skype..
4. restart your pc.

note: don't uncheck the other unless you fully understand on what you are doing ,,
