Skype signing me out to one person

Lately, I've experienced that Skype is suddenly signing me out, but only to one contact. And the strange thing is that my Skype claims it's that person who signs out. So everyone else is online on my list, except for that person. But when I then try and sign in on my mobile device I can see the person still online, and I'm told I was the one who signed out. Anyone got a suggestion to what is causing this?

I hope my question was understandable because it's a really weird problem, difficult to explain.

If I understand you correctly, one of your contacts shows as offline when they're not, and you show offline to them when your not.

If that's the case there's not a lot you can do about it.  Skype's online/offline status is not 100% reliable.  I have to hope they're working of fixing it.

In the mean time, if you're pretty sure that person is really online, send them a short IM and see if it gets delivered.   Or if you want to try to call them, right click on their contact and on the menu that comes up, click on Video Call or Call.  

Sometimes either of those steps will kick offline status back to online when it should be online.

this may be what's happening to me - I appear offline to her and she appears offline to me!
