Skype on Windows 8 Release Preview(build 8400) - Unable to login

Early this morning I manage to login, with the high CPU usage problem. Restart my computer and now I can't login anymore, I've already reinstalled skype but it changed nothing nor the compatibility mode with 7,vista or XP sp3.

Windows 8 Firewall is already disabled.

I stay on main login page with an infinite looping circle next to login info.

Okay, I logged in, but my chat/call history is gone. And I want my chat history. When I copy my folder, it doesnt want to log in again... what can I do ..?

You only need to copy the main.db file, which you will find in the folder named as your Skype name. make sure that Skype is not running when you are doing this.

After delete Skype folder from AppData I'm able to log in. But issue with high CPU usage remains..

man why don't you just instal skype 4.2, which i have done. It works flawlessly. After all WIN8 RP is only for testing

just install skype 4.2. you won't have that CPU issue
