Skype on Windows 8 RP has high cpu usage

I use Skype version 5.9.0.115 on Windows 8 Release Preview and connect facebook. my CPU usage is higher with Skype. Although I will change to 

Skype 5.9.0.114 or
Skype 5.8.0.158
It consume high CPU.

my notebook spec
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64

GPU: AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

I want the developer to resolve this issue quickly. Please.

I have the same problem too.
Also Skype 5.9 takes *a lot* to connect with Win8 RP.

Yep, same here. Very high CPU usage on Skype 5.9.0.115 on Windows 8 Release Preview.

I was wondering if Windows 8 RP had efficiency problems .

But it is again the skype problem! - again and again

Seems that it needs an extra fix for each os (or maybe ie browser) version. Technology these days is far too much complicated.

After having skype turned off - I immediately experienced the birds singing in the background. Normally my DELL Latitude E6520 Notebook with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2,30GHz, RAM 4GB and Intel 520 120GB SSD is COMPLETELY silent.

Use version 5.1.0.112.
It's the only one that works well!

I just installed this old Skype 5.1 version, and it works well.

It is to be hoped that MS Skype will soon release a hotfix for their MS Windows 8 RP problem. One should think that a company such as Microsoft should be able to better coordinate their products to work smoothly with each other.
