Skype keeps closing once I log on

I have the same problem.  I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 and MS 2010.  But it will kick me off after I try to send a message to a friend.  I uninstalled reinstalled updated did all the things the problem solver told me to do and still it does not work.   FIX THIS SKYPE!!!!!!!

-_- Same thing as above... And this is really annoying, I have no other means to talking to some people that I can only talk to on skype. Please fix this. Thank you.

I recommend trying to delete shared.xml first, since it does not involve installs. If deleting shared does not work I also recommend deleting all the folders named after Skype user names. I have used this method many times already. Im just glad an admin finally posted this method.

Hi, yes loaded SKYPE and now we talk for seconds and it goes off log back on do this over and over getting very old.
