Skype is not safe for making private video call, isn't it?

[ Edited ]

Hello,

Strange unsecured in private video call. I and my friend were making a private video call. When we stopped talking awhile, there were strange sound from third party which i don't know. The sounds were like moving table/chair, playing piano, typing on computer keyboard... That was strange. My friend confirmed there was no one making sound in my friend's room. This sounds happened again and again (more than 30 minutes).

This made me feel unsecured about using skype. I could hear their sound. Could they hear what i and my friend talked? or more, Could they see our video call?

This is strange unsecured. Skype is not safe for making video call?

Can someone explain why? our computer both have up-to-date avg antivirus software installed.

Thanks.

What type of Network?

Perform a security check:

Thank you for the reply. We both have wifi connections through our wireless routers. My friend's router connects directly to the Internet service provider. I am not sure if my wireless router connects directly to the Internet service provider or not. (I am not sure if I answer your question)

This happened to me the day after I first bought my MacBook Pro two years ago after loading Skype - Freaked.Me.Out

I killed the app and didn't reload it again until recently

Re: Skype is not safe for making private video call, isn't it?

Well my dad searched it up on google and saw that it is NOT safe it sees your screen, all your password on games, and your face! They activate the camera secretly without it lighting so you think you are alone... but your not if you have skype you should delete it and you will be PC will be private again C:
