Hi...Im using Windows 7(starter)....I need help on this "Skype is Not Responding" ... Everytime i log in skype and starting to use either video call or voice call or sms, i always ended up receiving "Skype is Not Responding" . I tried many times to solve this problem by following step by step instructions in Technical support (How can I update my Windows Firewall settings after reinstalling or upgrading Skype?) but to no avail..can anyone help me to overcome this problem and enjoy using skype again...any hlep will do...thanks...

maybe i should uninstall my skype 5.3 version and instal 5.5 version instead....hope it solve my problem....
There are so many things this could be, but the easiest thing to try first is probably the latest version of Skype. Note that some people would consider this a downgrade, but if it works it wouldn't be in your case.
After that, you might consider getting current on your Windows Updates--I see you're not even on Service Pack 1 yet. That may not help this particular problem, but it'll have general beneficial effects.

GOOD NEWS.....i recently install skype version 188.8.131.52 and uninstall my skype older 5.3 version....and it worked now...theres no error...i already used my video and voice call......hope you can try especially with the same problem as mine, it works for me...
