Skype downloading error

I'm trying to download skype and it keeps saying, "Could not access network location %PUBLIC%/Desktop/.

Restart your computer.

Now try with this link:

Most likely, your Windows registry database contains wrong data on location of user special folders. Hopefully you can fix this using the procedure provided here:
