Skype crashes as soon as I load it up.

Hi,
been having an issue with my skype only just today. Seems tjust crashes as soon as I load it up. Looked around online and the fixes that have been provided ( delete certain files within the %appdata%/skype and reinstalling) but to no avail. I'm using windows 7 64 bit

Try first to update your Windows 7 to Service Pack 1.
