Skype causes my internet link to close

I have a regular problem when I use Skype.  Part way into most calls it causes my link to the internet to close at random. The only way to get back on line is to restart my computer.  This problem only occurs with Skype.  All other activities run beautifully until I use Skype.  I have the most up to date version of Skype and all the up to date Windows 7 packs.

What actual version of Skype do you have?  Click on Help > About Skype for the specific version number.

How do you connect to the Internet?   Cable?  DSL?  Etc?  And wired or wife?
