This issue is driving me crazy. If I'm playing music in Zune or my browser - or anywhere - Skype will interrupt/block all sound from the system for a moment. If someone calls me it also blocks it for a moment, the same as IM, before both the music returns and Skype begins ringing.
I have set communication to "do nothing", as well as trying the others. Same issue. Skype always interrupts the sound.
Win7 64-bit with Skype 5.6.59.110
How do I prevent Skype blocking all sound sources when there is communication activity?
