Skype and Fullscreen Gaming

I use skype alot when playing WoW and other multiplayer games, when i run the game in fullscreen mode calls and other notifications rapidly flash over the fullscreen window, and slow the games FPS and sometimes crash it.

Anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

i have exactly the same problem i just reject the call and it doesnt behave like i pressed alt+esc

but some of my friends does reject but skype behave like they pressed alt+esc  and this is kinda big problem for slow pc's 

after i reject the call i manually alt+esc and call the caller again

even if i set the option to auto accept incoming calls it does send me to the desktop screen (alt+esc) and i have uninstalled all skype related files from my computer and fresh install skype again this is a must problem to be solved for gamers thanks
