Skype Video disappears on my end, but not partners.

Hi all,

 

First time posting here so I hope everything is in order.

 

Recently, Skype has been giving me issues with my video. After about 5 minutes of being in a call, my partner's video will disappear (goes to the dark/light blue screen) and my mini-video freezes. Audio still works fine. The real kicker is that my partner can still see and hear me just fine, and their video is working. Turning video on/off does not work, nor does restarting the call. I have to quit the skype client completely and restart it to fix it for another 5 minutes.

 

I have already tried reinstalling it to the latest version, and I have also tried deleting (renaming) the Skype folder under appdata.

 

I have no ideas left on how to fix this, any help would be appreciated.
