Skype Has Stopped Working

I bought a new Webcam today and came home and installed it, I went to make a video call with it and it shut down skype, and now every time I try to even type to someone I get a message saying "skype has stopped working" and it says windows will let me know if there are any solutions but there never is. It only happens when I try and talk to someone though. I can do anything else besides talk to friends.

This happened to me as well. I uninstalled the program then reinstalled it, and the problem persists.

This has happened to me too! I have installed the latest version of Skype and it is still happening. Anybody find anything out?

I'm glad at least that I'm not the only one.  I've uninstalled and installed Skype 3 times with no results.

im in afghanistan, i got special permission to use the computer because it was supposed to be the first time ive seen my newborn child and skype isnt working. just my luck!

Go to this site and download the Beta version of skype. It should fix the problem! Good luck!
