Skype Exectuable is corrupt

Hi,

Ive had a look through the forums and tried most of the suggestions and my skype still does not work. Im running Windows 7 64-bit with nvidia optimus (already tried running skype using intergrated and dedicated) and tried reinstalling 4 times using both full versions, old versions etc.

The error just says that the file is corrupt and should be re-installed.

Any suggestions?

Also be aware that in the case of nVidia driver, it may even be necessary to revert to the older 280.26 driver.

found out it was my nvidia driver, couldnt get it to open whilst the driver was enabled so disabled opened then re-enabled. i cant get any further back driver as my driver aint listed on the nvidea website (GT 635M) but thanks anyway

Hi Im having the same problem like you. Im using the same graphic card Nvdia 635M. How do u resolve the problem?

i'm currently facing the same problem. how do i enable and disable my nvidia driver?

i found out how to do it. you have to first disable your nvidia software. go to control panel, then click device manager. under display you'll probably see 2 graphic cards. double click nvidia then click disable
