Skype Can't Connect

I just updated my Skype to the newest version. Before I did this it was working just fine and I had a video chat with my friend. Now that I got the new updated version, it isn't working at all and not connecting.

I tried Uninstalling and Installing again, but nothing happened. I get the notice that Skype can't connect. Please help me and give me any advice as to how I can fix this.

What Firewall and Antivirus applications are installed on your computer?

I have McAfee Internet Security

And just Windows firewall.

I got it working now. I had to turn off the mcafee fire wall

This is awful I have been trying everythig the list gives me for skype not connecting and still nothing I am really upset i don't no anything else i can do... please help... I have can't find the Window Firewall under just my controll pannel and so I don't know if I have that properly installed ??? any way my Macfee is expired ... Help!!

Do a complete uninstall of McAfee.
