Resizing snapshots

When I take a snapshot from a video call the saved image is 160x120 which is a very small thumbnail. Is there a way that I can have the snapshots the same dimensions as what I am seeing on my monitor or is it based on the other persons cam settings?

Re: Resizing snapshots

The snapshots will always be in the same resolution as the currently received video. If the received video is in 160x120 resolution, then this will also be the resolution of your snapshots. You can do nothing to change this.

Re: Resizing snapshots

the resolution of a Skype video stream is automatically determined to be the best that is achievable between the computers involved

factors that are involved in this process include the quality and speed of the internet connection between the computers involved, whether call is one-way or two-way video, the processing resources available at each end, and the capabilities of the webcams themselves
