If you do not like the direction and strategy of Skype, that's the guy.

There is the way, very simple and fast. Download K I L L S K Y P E H O M E, you coul find it in Google. Leave your account and password in Skype, then close it, then open this Kill, and Skype could not open Home anymore.

Hey, it's the latest "hack" out there. Try following, it should work:
1. Close Skype
2. Go to c:\users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\roaming\skype\shared_dynco
3. Open file dc.db in notepad,delete its content, save and close
4. In dc.db file properties set it up to read-only and confirm
5. Return a folder back and go to shared_httpfe
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 in file queue.db
That's all. One annoying thing in your life down, hundreds to go

I was honestly 10 seconds away from uninstalling skype !!!

can you please remove skype home page its realy annoying..

here is the reason from time to time skype home apears and when i'm chating and playing a game skype home page makes its move whit a comarcial and sends my game to taskbar so please make an option to deactivate this "home page" or remove it please

After version 4.2, Skype became malware, first turning into a Trojan, and then forcing adware. So go to a site called OldApps and download Skype 4.2. Then disable automatic updates. That should take care of the home window problem.
