Reinstallation (urgent)

Dear Skype expert,

Hi, I would like to know that why I could not do login from my computer. After my installation, I started the application, however, the brower provided no spaces for me to insert my account and my password, the brower only shows the skype icon on the left corner and blue background and nothing more. I try to uninstall and reinstall the application,  while i was uninstalling in "Control Panel Home", it popped up a sentence and was written "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738."

What should I do next? I really need to stay connected with my friends from skype. Thanks so much and I am eager to your response.

Are you running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?

Im running the 64-bit version of Window 7.

I just tried FixIT, but the same problem still occurs, i cannot uninstall "Skype Click to Call".

The problem is with your Internet Explorer, JavaScript and VBScript.

What is the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer?

In Internet Explorer go to Help -> About Internet Explorer.

P.S. Please, don’t say that you are not using Internet Explorer. This is irrelevant. Skype depends on Internet Explorer.

Error 2738 indicates that your vbscript is not working. you may need to repair/register vbscript.dll

Try this.

a)     Click Start.

b)     In the search box type cmd

c)     Right click and select Run as administrator.

d)     Type the following commands and press ENTER.

cd\

cd windows\SysWOW64

regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll

Restart your PC.

Now try installing Skype with this link:

http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full

The version of IE is IE9. However i hardly use it, i prefer using Google Chrome.

I tried typing the script you sent me and I install the skype again, however, same problem occurs, I cant login to my account,
