Push To Talk Can now be defined as a Hot Key in the latest beta release:
Am I the only one who notice or experiencing PTT (Push to talk) as actually working as PTM ( Push to mute ) ?
It still works if you dont want the other person to hear a different conversation and they're bound to the same key, so definately keep it in, but maybe add a new hotkey that is really PTT as originaly intended ?
Also, I am unable to assign the button on the side of my mouse as a PTT key, the other buttons register but this one (MB4) doesn't. This is the button I use for PTT in other voice apps.
If you click mute your microphone and then use the push to talk key, it acts like push to talk. It just does the opposite of what it's on.
That sucks so hard!
Give us a freedom!
Skype has been out 9 years and this option comes out now... and it's not even done right. This is why skype will never have the true gaming crowd.
