Problems with Skype connecting and sending/receiving calls and messages [ Edited ]

Last week all of the sudden skype froze on me, I restarted it, it signed in but when I messaged someone it would show a little loading circle like the message was not sending properly ( which it wasn't ). I then tried calling and nothing would work. The internet was just fine at the time nothing was wrong. I restarted and it would work for a few seconds then do the same. I didn't install any new firewall or antivirus or make any critical changes. It will sometimes work for a few minutes then stop, but mostly not work at all. Sometimes I will receive the message but can't respond. I reinstalled twice no luck

Edit: Also will not let me exit normally, i have to go through task manager and end it manually.

I am having the same issue... and I'm not very happy about it... this has been going on like this for days. And obviosuly we have good internet connection because we are on the internet right now.. :/ I was really hoping to talk to my mother today too.
