Problems with Skype Home tab, Give Feedback tab and Adding a new contact [ Edited ]

Hi, 

I downloaded Skype a couple of months ago, however, no-one has been on it for a few weeks now. As soon as I signed in the whole thing was fine, however, now when I sign in, my Home tab comes up blank and so does the Give Feedback tab. Also, whenever I try to add a new contact, another window appears, but it's always blank. I can only get new people on my contact list if they send me a request.

I have checked other people's answers and I found something I thought would work. It was something involved the Command Prompt, I thought it would work so when I rebooted, it appeared to have worked when I went on Internet Explorer, however, when I logged into Skype, I still had the same problems.

Do you have any other suggestions for me? Thank You in advance.

What exactly do you see now when you open this link in your Internet Explorer (must be IE 32-bit version, even if you are using another browser)?

Also, in your IE go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings. Make sure that the only option selected there is "Automatically detect settings". However, if you are using Proxy server, the Proxy settings must be specified there.

When I try the link you told me to in IE, it comes up with the page where you add contacts. I checked the settings on IE and there is only the one setting selected which you mentioned.

Open again your Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> General. In the section “Browsing history” click on the “Settings” button and then “View files”. Delete all files from the Temporary Internet Files folder.

I've followed the steps and deleted the temporary internet files folder.

After I removed the Temporary Internet Files folder, I signed in again and it works now.
