Problem in installing skype.

Hi there,

I used to have skype earlier which I deleted. Now whenever I try to install, it says, "We are having problems connecting to the download server. I have tried through skype setup full as well but to no avail. Kindly advise me how to re install skype.

What type device are you using?  Mac?  Windows?

It's Windows XP.

Ok.   Download then run the full installer via this link:

http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-full

or, if there's a problem with that one, try this:

http://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_5.9.0.114.msi

I cannot install Skype.  When I run setup I get a notice that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Skype.deletion\clsid cannot be found.  Then a note that Download failed Code 1601.  A fatal error occurred during installation.
