Premium User cannot do Group ScreenSharing !!!!

Hi,

I just upgraded my Skype account to premium 2 weeks ago.

I use Skype mostly on MAC but lately I have to work on Windows 7.

With MAC, I can do group video call and group screensharing with no problem.
But with Windows 7, Skype didn't let me do group screensharing.

If anybody know how to fix this, please help.

If Skype employee read this post, please send me Email with instruction or call me (Skype ofcourse)

Group video sharing became available in Skype for Windows version 5.8.  Click on Help > About Skype to see what specific version number you have installed.  If it's not the current version, 5.8.0.154, update via this link:

I clicked Help > Check for Updates

and It said I'm up to date.

I'm confused

The auto-update feature is unreliable.  Download then run the full installer from that link I provided.    That will fix your screen sharing problem.

Man...that is no joke.  It's pretty sad.  But let me tell you that there are many times when I give advice here and I have to cross my fingers that it works.  This isn't one of them.  I'm sure.  I'm running 5.8.0.154 here and I can screen share on a group video call with no problem.

It works here.  I don't see why it won't work for you.

The only other thing I'd suggest is make sure any other contacts on a group call are also running the latest version, 5.8.0.154 for Windows; 5.5.0.2340 for Mac.
