Please help - Computer too slow and broken voice

hi guys,

please help with this issue. I have a new PC that is VERY powerful. 2.2ghz 8gb RAM Intel i7 etc. Yet skype calls are broken voice and impossible to talk clearly.

This is NOT my connection which is 100mb wifi. Skype works perfectly on my Android phone on same network. This is some problem with Skype and windows.

I have the same problem on my NC110 Netbook by Samsung. It has dual core atom 1.66ghz and 2gb RAM yet it still cannot make clear calls and the application says "computer too slow".

I have sent in logs before. This is something to do with how skype handles audio processing. It is not about my computer speed (which is very fast) or my connection (which is very fast).

Please can you guys look into this. My new PC is just out of the box. It has no junk slowing it down. It is as very fast machine. Please admit this issue and help fix it. please.

I get 70mb down and 10mb up!

Do you have the same problems with your audio when calling Echo Test Service?

EDIT - Yes I have the same problem with Echo test. It's not a connection thing, its an audio or processing issue. I'm pretty sure of that. 

This might help the devlopers isolate the issue....

Skype works fine on my 5 year old Dell laptop on Windows 7.

The only difference I can see between this old laptop and my new very fast laptop is that the DELL one uses SIGMATEL audio and the new fast samsung laptop uses REALTEK audio.

This MUST be the issue? The Samsing laptop is much fast than the DELL in EVERY way. But it cannot make unbroken calls on Skype and the quality icon turns red or yellow and says computer too slow.

I alos noted that when I have a call window open, if I mute my speakers, the call quality icno instantly goes RED on the REALTEK audio fast laptop. Doing the same thing on the DELL SIGMATEL laptop does nothing to the call quality icon. It stays green.

This is some issue here? right?

I fixed it!!!!!!!!!!

Disable WMM support in the router menu. Fixed. After months I finally found it. delighted.
