My computer shows two Skype icons

Hi,

I have an HP computer, and Skype was already loaded onto it. I don't know why, but for a couple months now, it's been showing two Skype icons from the Launch box at the bottom of my screen. One is enough! How do I manage this? Thanks.

Delete both shortcut. Then go to Skype folder inside program files and go to phone folder and then right click on Skype application and select send to Desktop (Create shortcut)
