Multiple Skype Accounts

For each Skype account, I'm using a new instance of Skype by starting Skype with the /secondary from the command prompt in Windows. It is a bit heavy if on the screen multiple Skype windows, escpecially while chatting with multipile people across multiple windows.

Does Skype provide a easier way to manage multiple accounts?

Not really, but you could change your view, if you are currently using Compact View.

Have you tried the default view. From the main Skype window, please do:

View -> Default View

You can go back at anytime by doing:

View -> Compact View

Re: Multiple Skype Accounts

I've followed the instructions and created a /secondary icon on the desktop but this only brings up the account which is already open and does not allow me to sign in to an alternative account.

Am I correct in thinking that I should be able to do this - or am I asking too much?

I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 with Skype 5.5.

Thanks,

John

You won't likely find a solution for your Mac in a Windows forum.  I suggest you post your question/problem where the Mac users hang out:  http://community.skype.com/t5/Mac/bd-p/Mac
