Lost all Contacts

I've lost all my contacts - could this be because I was on Skype on a different laptop 2 days ago?

How do I get them all back?

If the version of Skype installed on this laptop was 3.8 or older, then this indeed may be the case.

yes I have only just finished loading the latest version of Skype - is there any way to get all my contacts back?

 The only what I know about is to contact Skype Customer Service (contact customer service). They may be able to restore the contacts from their backup.

I have lost all my Skype contacts and for some reason overtime its someone Birthday Skype gives me a reminder. Please help, I have tried install and reinstall but no joy.

Have you recently used your Skype account on version older than 4.0?

yes, i regularly lose my contacts, looks like every week the contacts disappear, very annoying, using version 5.10
