Login and chat fine, add contacts not working

Hello

Since this morning (GMT+1 for me) I'm unable to add contacts. Every time I try

to go there I get an error message along the lines that I do not have an active internet

connection. I'm using firefox, but content advisor on IE is disabled, and IE is NOT in Offline mode. I am using the latest version of skype.

All ports are open for skype, and I returned the settings to defaults.

I would appreciate if anyone could help me with this problem.

OK, problem solved.

So, as skype needs IE to work (unfortunately), and my IE had its content advisor disabled and was working in online mode, I tried to check the proxy settings. Well, I had some other proxy settings for some reason, probably something I did long ago for some reason or another.

If you have connection problems, check your proxy settings in IE. Myabe in the next edition IE would not matter.

i never change my Skype name , my email id is kanth18@gmail.com for this email i have my Skype name as kanth777, but some has hacked my Skype and changed my Skype name as kanthiban . and kanth777 Skype name was given to another email id called kanth1jk8@gmail.com this is a fraud. i want my Skype name back as soon as possible. if not i lost my every thing please help me to block kanth1jk8@gmail.com email and...give my Skype name kanth777 to my email id- kanth18@gmail.com . i need am immediate solution for this matter.
