Latest Skype Screen Share

So I've been using skype for a long time, and screen sharing feature too. In previous versions my contact and I in an audio call could both share our screens at the same time and watch what each other was doing (dual monitors and all)

But now I find with this new version only one person can share at a time.
Can this be fixed?
Is this a bug?
Is it some new "skype premium" gimmick?

Thank you for your time.

I doubt Skype would have the temerity to issue an upgrade that seemingly garners no practicable uses other than serving to solicit function loss as a vehicle to gain market share as this would impinge significantly on its goodwill. Must be a glitch.

No. This is not a glitch but a new "feature". Please, don't ask me why.

Really Ruwim. Thank you for your reply . So now the only solution to remedy this is go elsewhere or to merely point our own cams at our own screens lolz ?. Hmmmmm still cant see any sense in it.

I have the same problem, can't share screens anymore. Is this a new joke from Microsoft? Removing features one by one????

Re: Latest Skype Screen Share

You can share your screen with the latest version, just not with your webcam running at the same time (unless you have Premium).

Turn off your webcam when you want to share your screen and turn it back on when you're done sharing.
