Hey I've been having trouble trying to update to version 5.9. Everytime I click on the link to the download page, it says that the URL is invalid.
Invalid URL
The requested URL "/af5af455910d15a37644ae9054c8161d/SkypeSetup.exe"
Reference #9.a4610c50.1334262379.8d319c7
Is something wrong or is it just me? Please reply.

Yep, me too. When I click on the Upgrade For Free link or Download Skype buttons on their website, I get this:
Invalid URL
The requested URL "/af5af455910d15a37644ae9054c8161d/partner/trackab

Well I'm at the page where it says:
A new version of Skype is available
Get the latest version of Skype for free and enjoy great new features with our best video yet.
[Upgrade for Free] <-- There's the link that leads to the download page
When I click on it, it would show a glimpse of that download page, then within almost a second later, it would white out and show this error message. The URL at the top would also suddenly change.
That's what I have been experiencing. Hope that helped

This am I had a message saying my skype needed updated. So I tried, and tried again and again, and again and it just sat there and wouldn't move. 40 minutes of waiting while I was doing other things. Closed it out finally and removed it. Now I can't download skype at all. What gives people!
